Have you noticed every year Christmas decorations are in store sooner and sooner every year? As I was trick or treating this year, I saw christmas trees already on display. People have even started to get creative and hung their halloween lights on their trees. What’s going on these days? I know stores have been rushing to get their decorations out so they have a bigger sales advantage with competitors. While shopping for halloween costumes, Wal-mart already had a section of the store set up for decorations 2 months ahead. No one seems to gear up for Thanksgiving anymore. I think this is one of the special days not to forget a day of THANKS. Yes Christmas is so much more fun to look forward to. Presents, lights, another big feast, decorations. Perhaps America has become much too commercialized to give Thanksgiving a "time of day."

I have been so excited to start this blog.  And now I’m ready to take off into the world wide web galaxy.  My name is Charlin and I’m a stay at home mom with a loving husband and three kids.  I wanted to provide readers and of course myself an outlet from the crazy days we call life.  I’ve got some exciting things up and coming like recipes, home decor, and crafts to share with you all.  So as I sit back here with snot on my shoulder from my son, I’d like to say, "Welcome!"
