Food Storage Racks

storage racksOn Christmas we received this food storage rack as a present from my husband’s boss.  I’ve always wanted to get one at the store, but thought, “I’ll get it next time I’m here.”  It’s an easy assemble and fits inside your pantry and saves so much room.  There’s even larger shelving systems if you have a bigger food storage.  This is a great way to save time searching for those cans of green beans in the back and rotates the cans so they get used up by the expiration date.  If you’re interested in seeing more, here’s the link. Christmas in October

Have you noticed every year Christmas decorations are in store sooner and sooner every year? As I was trick or treating this year, I saw christmas trees already on display. People have even started to get creative and hung their halloween lights on their trees. What’s going on these days? I know stores have been rushing to get their decorations out so they have a bigger sales advantage with competitors. While shopping for halloween costumes, Wal-mart already had a section of the store set up for decorations 2 months ahead. No one seems to gear up for Thanksgiving anymore. I think this is one of the special days not to forget a day of THANKS. Yes Christmas is so much more fun to look forward to. Presents, lights, another big feast, decorations. Perhaps America has become much too commercialized to give Thanksgiving a "time of day."
